e-Meson Identified In Wardon Decay

Brussels - A team of over a dozen scientists working at a secret laboratory in Northern Minnesota today announced stunning evidence for the existence of the elusive e-meson. Research director Chip Christians, led the group in it's successful measurement of the particle's rest mass and wardness, two properties used to differentiate between competing models for the behavior offundamental particles.

'The work was abutilating', Christians noted.

Using a sensitive measurement device, technically known as a probe, the e meson's rest mass is readily quantified. 'I was just spacing around by the kampfire', Christians told reporters. 'I had a pretty good buzz going and must have passed out. When I came to and opened my eyes ... there they were.'

The e-meson's 2.71828 eV rest mass is unique among subatomic particles.

Certified opponentologist K3.14159 maintains a different opinion. 'I had a buzz going too and I didn't see anything', he carped. K3.14159's announcement last week that 'there are no e-mesons' has his professional reputation in a tail spin again.

'Debunked opponentologist K3.14159 with the wonderdog, Tillie.

Meanwhile, Christians plans further studies into the physics of the e-meson. But first there's time to celebrate. Noted Christians, All in all, it's been a chipperific day.
